Our Mission
Living Youth will work collaboratively enabling children, young people and young adults to experience the love of God and inspiring them to engage in the life and mission of the Catholic Church.
History
Youthcom - Down and Connor Youth Commission established by
Bishop Walsh in 1993.

Our Context
Central to Living Youth is the Catholic faith that commits us to:
-
inviting young people to follow Jesus;
-
recognising the unique gifts of each young person;

integrating and applying Catholic values and faith to daily life;

developing a culture of co-responsibility for youth ministry;
-
supporting the spiritual, personal and social development of young people;
-
providing developmental faith-based programmes for children, young people & young adults;
-
coordinating the participation of young people aged 11-25yrs old in diocesan, regional, national and international events;
-
developing trained committed faith leaders;
-
collaborating with other youth organisations and schools;
-
developing strategic partnerships;
-
ensuring integrity and accountability in all aspects of our work.
